Patricia Parmashwar, MA, C. Psych

Patricia is a Registered Psychologist licensed to practice in the Provinces of Saskatchewan (#701 with an APE designation) and Ontario (#5027) with authorized areas of practice in Forensic Psychology, Clinical, Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology for adult and couples.

She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the joint Behavioural Neuroscience program (Carleton University and University of Ottawa). She has undergraduate degrees in Biology, Psychology and Psychology (hons) from the University of Ottawa. She also completed courses in Cognitive Psychology and Cultural diversity at McGill University.

Throughout her career, she has worked for the Ministry of Public Safety. She has worked in the Forensic/Clinical field for over 20 years and practiced as a Clinical Psychologist in both Forensic and Clinical settings for over 13 years. She provides psycho-diagnostic assessments and counselling services for issues related to Depression, Anxiety, Acute stress disorder, PTSD, Post-Concussion Syndrome (PCS) and Personality Disorders using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, Solution Focused therapy, Mindfulness, Stress Management and Psychoeducation.

She maintains her current knowledge base by attending relevant workshops, conferences, seminars and reviewing current research articles in psychological journals. She is a member in good standing with the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA), College of Psychologists of Ontario, and Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.

Currently she provides psychodiagnostic and supervision services on a part-time basis to Revival Rehabilitation Centre.


Lana Michaels Ph.D., RP

Lana holds a Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and has 40 years of clinical experience in psychotherapy and clinical psychology. Lana Michaels is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She was originally trained in Russia and her education was evaluated by the World Education Services (WES) and by The College of Psychologists of Ontario, and it is an equivalent to Canadian standards of MA and PhD degrees.

Currently, she is employed with Correctional Services Canada in the Departments of Psychology and Mental Health Services. In addition, she enjoys working for Revival Rehabilitation Center, various Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Blue Cross, and her private practice.

Most of her practice is related to psychotherapy and counseling services for the general community of Ottawa and Kingston. The main issues she deals with in her practice are depression, anxiety, phobias, PTSD, psychological injuries related to MVA, stress management, traumas, personal growth, life changes, and cultural adjustment difficulties in teenagers, adults and couples.

Interventions that she uses in her practice are based on a cognitive behavioural theoretical framework, utilizing a variety of techniques, including CBT, Psychodynamic, Humanistic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, EMDR, Exposure Therapy, Hypnosis, EFT, Mindfulness and Acceptance Therapy, Positive Psychology, Stress, and Anger Management Techniques, and Couples Therapy.


Jaclyn Benn, MACP, MSc ENS, R.Kin, RP

Jackie is a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Kinesiologist. Throughout the course of her career, she has grown and strengthened her appreciation for a holistic treatment approach, understanding that the obstacles to health are often multi-faceted. Her goal in therapy is to help individuals get back to living their most valued lives, whatever that may look like. Her experience is supported by a Masters in Counselling Psychology, a Master’s degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science, and an Undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences.

As a psychotherapist, Jackie’s aim is to support clients who are experiencing any combination of stress, anxiety, depression, life adjustment challenges and/or relationship issues. She is experienced in using techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Behavioural Activation (BA), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She has worked with adults who have presented with a wide variety of mental and physical health concerns, often in combination.

Jackie began her career as a Kinesiologist in 2009, working in a clinical setting alongside other health care professionals to create and deliver exercise-based programs for patients’ acute injuries and chronic conditions. She simultaneously worked in a fitness facility, where she helped clients attain personal fitness and performance goals. 


Anick Labonté, B.A., M.A., RP

Anick is a bilingual (French and English) Registered Psychotherapist who has been working in the field of psychotherapy since 2019. She completed her Bachelor of Honours in Psychology in 2017 at Laurentian University and then completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology in 2019 at Yorkville University.

Anick provides individual counselling and has had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients. She has worked with adults and teens and has experience with anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress, grief, motor vehicle accident, and other mental health-related concerns. Some of the modalities she applies during therapy are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Anick strongly believes that there is always room to grow and is continuously learning new modalities in order to provide the best-tailored service to each of her clients.

In her spare time, Anick can be found spending time with her friends and family or enjoying outdoor activities.


Christina Hardane, Med, RP(Q), CCC.

Christina holds a master’s degree in psychomotor therapy and counselling psychology. She is a qualifying member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists and a Certified Canadian Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Having worked with adults, children, and youth of different ages for over 15 years, she believes our past life experiences affect our present, our reaction to our daily life, and our ability to cope with new challenges. Therefore, she believes therapy is a safe space to hold a place to our past and current trauma and offer new perspectives.

She offers counselling from an integrative approach tailored to the client’s needs. Christina combines different techniques based on cognitive behavioural therapy, psychodynamic-psychoanalytical approach, motivational interviewing, attachment-based, and mindfulness, to support the client’s full potential.

Christina offers services in person and virtually. She can assist you in French, English, and Arabic.


Katie Khachaturova, RN, BScN

Katie is a registered nurse with College of Nurses in Ontario since her Graduation from University of Ottawa in 2009.

Katie is a Case Manager with Revival Rehabilitation, specializing in rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and prevention and promotion of clients’ health and independence with direct care and case management services. Katie also has experience in cardiac rehabilitation since 2011 in Cardiac Rehabilitation at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.

Katie’s strategy is to empower a person to become in charge of his/her health.

When not working, Katie loves spending time with her two young sons, enjoys outdoor activities, photography, and travel.


Katie Walsh OT Reg. (Ont.)

Katie graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. She also holds an Honours Bachelor degree specializing in Biology and Psychology from Queen’s University. Katie is a member and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, as well as the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. She has practical experience in a wide variety of clinical settings and offers occupational therapy across the lifespan. 

Katie is committed to applying a client-centered, holistic, and evidence-based approach to recovery. Her goal with each client is to help them get back to doing the things they love!


Amanda Boyd, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Amanda has been an Occupational Therapist (OT) in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO) since 2013. This occupational therapist is also a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT). She has nine years of experience with assessing and treating individuals with cognitive impairments, brain injuries, physical and neurological injuries for a variety of stakeholders with a focus on increasing function, return to work and quality of life. 

When she is not working, Amanda enjoys baking, cooking and biking around the Ottawa and Gatineau region.


Emily Rossi, RSW

Emily is a Registered Social Worker with the OCSWSSW. Graduated from McGill University’s School of Social Work in 2014, Emily has worked in various settings, from homecare to community work to hospitals, helping clients cope with the demands of everyday life.

Through a holistic approach, Emily assesses clients’ functioning within their environments and strives to support them through advocacy, case management, and psychosocial support. She is committed to creating a learning environment where her clients can develop a growth mindset and continue to improve throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Emily is proud to offer her services in English and French.


Candace Lee, B. Sc.HK., R.Kin

Candace is a Registered Kinesiologist who has been practicing in the field of kinesiology for over 14 years. She completed her Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo. Over the course of her career she has had the fortune of working with a variety of clients, injuries and medical conditions, alongside a diverse collection of highly accredited healthcare professionals in a multi-disciplinary setting including, clinical, corporate, industrial, and fitness facility environments. Such varied experience has helped Candace to identify that her passion lies with both teaching people and working with them to understand how movement plays a key role in recovery, daily life function and lifestyle improvement. To provide the best treatment to all of her clients, Candace regularly engages in furthering her professional knowledge through courses, reading and engaging with professionals in different aspects of the health field.

Whether she is working with you in the gym or pool to help you overcome and prevent injuries, ensuring you’re working safely and efficiently in your work environment through an ergonomic assessment, or assessing your physical and behavioural functioning through a functional capacity evaluation she is always very compassionate and encouraging.

In her spare time, she can be found leading an active lifestyle through exercise and playing sports and enjoying time with her young family.


Karlee Donovan, R. Kin

Karlee graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Science and a Specialization in Kinesiology and subsequently obtained her certification as a registered kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. She decided to focus on MVA patients because she recognized the unique challenges they face and wanted to make a positive impact in their recovery journey. When not working with MVA patients at Revival Rehabilitation Center, Karlee works at On The Ball Pediatric Therapies, helping children of all ages and abilities reach their functional goals.

In her practice at Revival, Karlee works with MVA patients of all ages, providing assessments, developing treatment plans, and guiding them through rehabilitation exercises. She takes a personalized approach to her work, taking the time to get to know her patients, understand their goals, and develop personalized treatment plans to meet the specific needs and goals of each patient.

Karlee’s passion for helping her patients extends beyond the physical realm. She understands the emotional and psychological toll that accidents can have on individuals and works to provide a supportive and caring environment throughout the rehabilitation process.

Outside of work, Karlee enjoys staying active by playing sports, hiking, and doing various classes at the gym. She also loves to get creative in the kitchen, cooking and baking all sorts of delicious and nutritious dishes!
